8910 External Audio??HELP!!

Hello, I am in need of some help. I have the 8910, and my daughter threw my phone in the tub. I let it completely dry out, and it works fine, except now it says the "External Audio is On" at powerup, and I cannot hear voice calls and no one can hear me talking. I think my internal audio is off. Is there a way I can fix this? PLEASE HELP I HAVE SEARCHED EVERYWHERE!
 
ps i have also called my service provider, they were no help. i called the audiovox help line, and they were no help. they told me to ship my phone to new york (im in arizona) and they would take a look at it...but i dont want to do that since i can still text message and send pix messages
