My 89 Bonnie has been running great until recently it started to kind of shake and make a ticking noise with each revolution the motor makes. Changed the coil, ignition module, fuel filter, still shaking. I can actually look at the engine and see it shaking. If you drive it it kind of sputters when you hit the gas, but it drives. Kind of smells like a firecracker or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And please no dumb ass answers. This is serious not some game.

check your spark plugs one or two might have oil on it see if you can post again at 700 central time as i will be here tommorow, i would like to hear how your spark plugs are, or better yet see if you can post pictures so i can see them, also check yr wires

In every car, the engine is attached to the chase via engine mounts, it is possible those mounts are broken and the engine is no longer attached to the chase from one or both sides, and this can be very serious because it can affect all of the parts attached to the engine, you need to go to the mechanic and have those checked, they can be molded back.

The cause of the problem can be because you drove over a speed pumb on high speed.

try to check your motor mounts. carburetor, water in gas maybe. and all your plugs, they might have fouled.
