89 Jeep 'fan' belt. Where can I find installation guide?

My 4.0 6cyl Jeep needed a new idler pulley so I bought it and put it on. Adjusting the power steering pump IN or OUT in its slot is how the slack is taken up, but for some reason the adjusting bolt turns fine but the pump will not move in either direction even after using penetrating oil and WD40. I loosened all of the bolts but still can't get it to move so can't get the serpentine belt back on. Know any 'secret' tips to getting the belt back on?? (It just needs about 1/2 inch.)

Do not use a bar on the pump you will damage it causing more work. There is a bolt on the back side or the side of the pump down under did you get that one loose. If so check your routing of the belt. In that year Jeep make some water pump turn clockwise and others that turned counter clockwise. If you do manage to get the belt on the wrong way you will over heat your engine. If you have a library close by you could get a manual on your Jeep to walk you through it.
