Heya im lookin to buy an 89' Jeep Cherokee off of a person my buddy knows. I would just like to know what some common issues with this year of cherokee are wheither there serious or not. I will be taking it for a thourough inspection from this mechanic i know before i buy it.
The Facts I Know:
- 89 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 2 door
- fully loaded for that year
- Inspection done 3 years ago and passed no problem
- Guy whose selling is relying on it as his only vehicle till he gets the new truck he's been saving up for (so it runs)
- has not been in any accidents besides scraping a little paint on a pole.
