So I've got an '88 Ranger with the stock 2.3L I4 and 5-speed manual. Forrest Green. My question is, Can I cut my airbox (air filter holding thing) without screwing up my IAC (Idle Air Control) valve? The IAC is actually bolted to the airbox on the top end, and the air is drawn in though the bottom end (duh) so can I let my truck breathe better without screwing up my Fuel/Air mix? Also, it's a mechanical AIC, not electronic, so it's prob nowhere near as accurate...
