I have a 1988 chevy c1500 2 wheel drive pick-up with the 305 TBI set up, the engine has been bord .030 and had a new cam put in to match. The problem is the if i push the petal to the floor really fast the truck will cut out and die then to restart it i have to hold the petal to the floor while i turn it over, but if i ease into the gas untill about half throttle i can the push it to the floor fast and it will take off with no problems. If anyone can help me with this I would be greatly appreciated.
