8700 and sidekick

Hey guys just wanted to start by saying great forum. Now I recently got a BB8700g for use at work and such but i would also like to use my sidekick when going out and whatnot...Now the problem that I am having is that the blackberry internet will not work for me and all and prompts me to add a 5.99 plan to make it worl but I already have the data plan from tmobile.....any suggestions because i really dont want to have to change data plans every time i switch phones.
 
There is no way around it. Sidekicks and BB's both use specialized servers to access data on the network. You will have to change your data plan each time you switch devices for these two units. Now if you were going from a BB to a WM device you won't have this problem since WM devices don't get routed through a specialized server like BB's and Sidekicks. This also applies when switching to a Palm based device.

however you won't be able to do anything email from my experience, because the blackberry plans and the total internet is different, in how its push vs pull email . the other option is maybe open another line and put the sidekick on a data only plan for 29.99$/monthly
