just got the car 7 days ago, The starter at the time was making a loud grinding noise every time i would try and start it, i replaced the starter, .. I put in a bigger battery at the time a red top optima, . which shouldnt effect it,. and the starter lasted another 10 or so starts before it would just make a humming sound. When i took the new starter out i noticed it was very hot, almost like its getting a charge the whole time??? anyway, im waiting on my replacement starer, which should last me only a couple days im thinking..... i noticed some of the teeth were a little bit torn, only after a day of use...
