Ok, I am trying to ID a part that was hooked into my stereo and melted. It was a small rectangular shaped box that my speaker wires were routed thru. On one side 8 speaker wires and a black ground came into it from the stereo hookup. Coming out into the hookup to connect to the car were only 4 speaker wires and the ground. opening it up I can see that after going thru a couple of circuits the negitave speaker line hooks back into the positve. Now where the ground comes out of it all of the negitave speaker hookups connect to the ground. I imagine for someone who does this it is probably pretty easy so hopefully I get an answer soon.
