85 honda v65 sabre cold start problem?

my 85 honda v65 does not start it turns over but it doesnt start when its 44 degrees outside but when the temp hits 70 degrees it fires right up this is the first time its ever happened ive owned it for 2 years

it sounds like it may have something to do with cold whether when you start it..the weather is colder than the bike type of deal..
