848 rear stands

Pit Bull for me. I've been using them for 12 years, never an issue. Never any worries about "did I get a good one?", "are those welds strong enough?", "is the bike going to fall off it?".
Stands are like any other tool, buy quality and buy once. It's cheaper in the long run and a heck of a lot less frustrating.

Just got an ABBA stand from their New Zealand supplier. Lifts the rear off the ground via the frame and is used by standing at the side of the bike. When its up there i can pivot the front off the ground at the same time so the whole bikes up. Just need to make a bracket for the front wheel. Like it.

i have a new DP rear stand for an 848. i am waiting for my new 1198s to get here and sebastian said he would take it back in trade for some parts i am getting. if things don't work out i can make you a deal on it if you like. i should now something in a few days and will let you know.

@rookieduc:
I got reversible Pitbull for my 1198 and it works great stabilizing my bike for maintenance use. I chose the PitBull mainly because of the style and reputation, and the reversible functionality. However get TRex if you just want a functional one. During my research I did not find any flaws about the TRex. It was mainly preference to choose one over the other. Good luck.
