This is what I use. Works great and worth the price. I used mine to keep my 848 level while I had the front end off the ground when I replaced my triple clamps.

I use the pit bull stands and love them but.....my buddy has these t-rex stands that are way way cheaper and work great. He has a monster and so i tried them on my bike and work great kinda makes me mad he got front and rear for the price i paid for 1 pit bull stand.

I use my T-Rex Racing stand quite a bit as well. I havent had any problems thus far. For the money I don't think you can beat them. When you can buy 4 T-Rex stands for the price of front and rear Pit Bull stands, to do the same function; then its a no brainer in my book. Even if they suck (which mine don't) I could buy new ones and still have money left over.
Not saying that Pitbull isnt the best stands made. One piece construction, very sturdy, and solid as a rock.
T-Rex stands are affordable, two piece construction, and yet still do the job, and are very sturdy.
Pat, have you just recently had problems with your old T-Rex? Let us know the story of what happened. Did they just get old, and eventually fail? This is the first negative story i have heard about T-Rex Racing stands.

I've had to send back a few sets due to things not being made properly thus not fitting together properly. Not for me as I won't own em but for customers that we had brought the stands in for. Had a couple collapse and a couple of bikes come off the bobin holders but we've had the same problem with Vortex also in the bobin department.
