that doesn't make sense, usually when you pre order something you pay more, not less... bc youre getting it first... either that or you've got really skill, or youre in another country besides the US and you dont have to pay all the import taxes. but i glad to hear that you got that deal, could you hook me up

I went into cliffs cycle revolution here in ct in october of 08 and told them I wanted a 848. They asked what color. I wanted red, they said they have four 848s coming in and three were white and all sold. I guess no one wanted the red.

I dont have my 2008 848 anymore, but I paid $11,800 OTD for it from a dealer in Oregon that was going out of business. They even trailered the bike up to California and delivered it to me. Then I paid about $1000 in registration fees at the DMV. So $12,800 total. I think I got a great deal.

I picked up my 08 848 in May of 08. I paid $15,700 out the door. I got The Termi slip ons, ECU, Filter, ZG DB windscreen, Evo fender eliminater, 41T rear sprocket, and gold DID chain. All was installed. I also got the first service included.
