Ok so my last bike was a 96 900 SS CR, and so I think I have a pretty Newb type question, and hopefully not to stupid.
I have an 08 848, and I've have noticed how little light my low beam produces. I've already made the decision to go and purchase an HID kit as a solution.
But I would like to know why it is that my low beam lense seems foggy, and cloudy, and the highbeam lense is clear as day.
Is there a functionality purpose to this?
Is it simply an esthetic thing from Ducati?
Does it help mechanics distinguish the two different bulbs? or
can the low beam lense be changed to look as clear as the high beam lense?
If so will this impact anything negatively?
Sorry about the tons of questions, and thanks in advance for any information you all can provide.
