8100 with myfavs...??

I know someone may have asked this before. But I just bought the 8100 and no where on there does it say myfavs. I will not know for another 2 weeks if it is myfavs compatible because my cycle does not start until the 3rd of Feb, and that is when my plan turns over to a myfav plan. Is there any other way of knowing if it is compatible? Well I called the store and he assured me the phone is myfav compatible. But I am still a little worried.

You are myfaves compatible.

You won't see the icon until you activate the myfaves.

Or try this, it may show if you don't have it active:

Options-Advanced Options-Applications...Scroll down to M.

Also, if you are getting myfaves, call tmobile right now and tell them to prorate it and activate it now.

They should have given you that option when you signed up for myfaves. Don't let them feed you that bull that you have to wait until next billing cycle.

If you call them now, you will have your myfaves icon and acct set up for myfaves within 30 minutes.
 
yes the 8100 is my fave compatible after you call them it will take like 30 minutes for it to pop up on the phone after that just go to each bubble and assign a fave. after you assign them you have to reapply their ringtone and a pic it wont do it automaticly

They want you to wait till the next billing cycle so they can charge you minutes on calls you would other wise have made with your myfavs account.
 
^^Yeah, exactly. That's what I did. I waited until the day after my contract with Cingular ended to start using T-Mobile. About the My Faves thing: I had to go to the kiosk where I got the phone and had them activate it for me.
 
I just bought my 8100 w/ my faves .. i bought just the phone so when i called to switch plan they wanted me to wait until next bill cycle to activate myfaves .. i nicely asked if they could please activate it for me now and they backdated the plan to the beginning of my billing cycle. furthermore when i added people to myfaves it backdated those minutes as well and took the minutes out of anytime and moved them to myfaves. maybe i was just lucky.
