8100 Random Rebooting

I've had my Pearl for two months now and lately it has been shutting off at will. Any insight on how I might remedy this would be greatly appreciated.

Doug, when was the last time you did a reboot (take out battery with BB on and then wait at least 30 seconds before reinstalling battery)? Also, how much memory do you have and do you typically let your battery run down all the way?

I've taken the batter out, but I don't know how to check how much memory I have left. I don't typically let my battery get too low... should I? Thanks for the help.

To check memory, go to Options/Status and it should show your memory. The reason i asked about the battery level is because if the level gets too low, the BB will shut down as a safety to protect data.

My phone started to do the same thing last week. I did a wipe and reinstall and it hasn't done that since. Although I do keep getting alot of java.lang errors.

I have a replacement phone coming in the mail... has anyone else experienced many problems? I love this phone, but it's been nothing but trouble. Can anyone assure me that theirs is reliable? Thanks!

I have not had my BB reboot itself yet in the 3 weeks I have had the phone. Reboots sound like defective units rather than OS versions.
