off a cliff out west? when i was a child in the 80s, i remember seeing something on tv concerning a family that went out west (arizona or nevada) with a winnebago/camper vehicle. The parents park the camper by a cliff and start having a verbal disagreement. They are so busy yelling that they dont notice that the camper is rolling off the cliff, and thus, they die. Their little son was outside the camper and he survives and the next scene cuts to the kid a few years later and he has survived the wilderness by himself and looks like a cowboy and is swinging a lasso.
