I'm looking for some good films, things like the Shawshank Redemption, Schindlers List, the kind that were very popular without being too tacky/cheesy (e.g. Home alone). Can be any genre.
The reason is that I found out my other half hasn't seen a lot of films from this period, only newer ones. I've tried other sites but they are mainly ones I've seen or not within this time period, like IMDBs top 250 contains a lot of recent or very old films.
