802.11 on T3

'ello!

I still cannot get my USB Bluetooth DLink DBT-120 to work. It keeps resolving to 169.254.63.214 instead of 192.168.0.1 . I haven't figured out how to fix this.

Anyway, my question is: Does anyone know if the Palm Tungsten T3 can get on the net with an 802.11b SD card? Will WebPro 3 work with it? Let me know if anyone has had success in doing this.

I'd like to be able to get online with this, but as it stands right now, I can't even hotsink via bluetooth, much less, getting online.

Thanks in advance!

As Andy 7733 said, there aren't drivers for an 802.11b SD card. That isn't to say there aren't methods of getting WiFi on your T3. I have briefly seen discussions on the subject at rabroad.com and I believe there is some kind of way you can attach an 802.11b "Module" to your T3, but I can't remember the exact method. I don't think it's really worthwhile though; with any luck these drivers will surface sometime.
I'd concentrate on making the Bluetooth work. It's best to follow a good guide. I know of one really good guide, but I'm afraid I couldn't find it just now, but here's another:
http://www.palmzone.net/modules.php?name=Sections&artid=2
If the guide doesn't help, let us know, but you'll need to give more detail to allow us to help (i.e. have you got the devices paired and just can't get the internet to work, or have you just not got the d link working atall? If the dongle keeps resolving to an address, why not just use that address instead?)

iiicRules,

You are very friendly and amaizing! Thank you so much! To sum it all up, that second link: http://www.whizoo.com/bt_setup/ worked like a charm. This is so great! Thank you so much!

Makes me ill to think Palm still does not offer 802.11 support for anything besides the Tungsten W. I think they dropped the ball on this one....even though it *should* eventually be available.
