my friends little girl was 11 weeks premature and is now 8 months. She has had problems since birth such as apnea, immaturity, and acid reflux. She is now having troubles digesting her food. She grabs her stomach and pushes forward to throw up and took celery and gagged herself to throw up and then was perfectly fine. The doctor told her to give her nutramagine and when that didn't work they said straight pedialyte. Now they are saying to play around with different formulas and mix it with pedialyte and try jar food. They diagnosed her with acid reflux first and now it's an eating disorder and she thinks they are misdiagnosing her. Do any of you know what it might be?
well it is for teething purposes and it's not like she's left alone with it so thanks oh so very much for your concern. she has seen a nutritionist before and a dietician at 6 months. she gums the celery every time and this time she didn't even try. usually when there is something not right with your child you know
also she has not been able to keep anything down for the last four weeks so that's a good idea about it not being digestable.
