73 honda sl350 k1 wont stay running?

i have a 73 Honda sl350 k1 trying to make it run ran last year this year it will run for maby five seconds the die any suggestion on what could b the problem i have cleaned the points spark plugs disassembled the carburetors cleaned them also has a brand new battery still no luck will start run for a sec and die will not allow me to give it any gas or it will die thanks

Try keeping it running by spraying starting fluid in carb throat during those 5 seconds and if it continues to run you have a dirty carb. There are alot of tiny passages in carb, pull inlet needles and seats and clean them, pilot and main jets.
