7230 no browser or browser icon!! PLEASE help

please help!....i recently purchased the "unlimited backberry add on" for my older 7230, and i cannot access the browser, after calling tmobile i was told that there is no browser icon for the 7230 and that i must access the browser through t-zones, but ofcoarse it doesn't work, thanks for the help tmobile, please help!!!!
 
germy12 if you don't have any BIS which is certainly true Go into options - advanced options - host routing table - click the trackwheel and register now
 
yea i've done a battery pull and registered the host routing table more than once, after clicking register now i get an SMS saying that i've been registered on the network, ughh, pretty frustrating
 
also, if you don't have a data plan, your provider won't be able to send all the service books. there should be aleast 8 or more of them. Once all the service books are downloaded the browser installs itself. Also, your 7230 may or may not be compatible with your carrier. i say this incase you got the phone used off ebay or something
 
jhowle, Welcome to rabroad.

It may take a while for the Blackberry Data Plan to be completely Activated, up to 72 hours is what I have read in the past. I think that you should be able to get the Browser eventually. Call your carrier again and ask for the Blackberry or Data Service Customer Service support. Make sure your account is activated correctly.

You are going to be limited in what you can do with the 7230, but it should work.

i need help. i just bought a bb 7230. and i know nothing about it. i been trying to use the browser but it dont do anything. can someone please help me? it keeps saying data connection refused
