71 Degrees North

Lauren your a diamond ...I love you........Lump Andrew A*sehole one and i will have your babies....:D:D

she should have been paired with Dairmid. ( seriously)

I have been watching it for, what, forty five minutes now, and I am still not sure what it is all about. What is the final aim? Do we lose one a week? And who are those presenters? I have been trying to work it out the whole time. The website is awful and tells you nothing.

A group of washed-up has-beens and neverwozzers pretending to be cold and hungry in a snow dome in Milton Keynes.

Add to that a Welsh-sounding presenter I wouldn't know if I fell over him in Tescos and an ex-X-Factor co-host I would take strong measures to avoid at all costs and you have the perfect combination for taking taking two diahorrea-ridden dogs out in a well-lit public park and scooping up what they've just produced in your bare hands and thanking God you no longer have a television set.

Other than the above, looks like a great addition to Saturday night TV.

I dont understand the voting...

It said they had to nominate two people to be up for elimination...

Then Kate said "Only two of you got votes and one of them got 9"

Then Lauren went.... but i was sure i heard someone say they were voting for Konnie and someone else said Michelle

Can anyone explain this to me? thanks

ITV make a mess of things sometimes don't they. Due to the clips they showed us at the beginning, we knew who was going to win the team challenge, the position of the break made the individual obvious, and when they said so early that it was a nine to one vote, it was obvious who was gone. It was a good show that was ruined by them giving everything away all of the time.

Why do TV programmes do this so regularly? They must realise that knowing what's going to happen is a massive problem to those of us who want to watch a properly put together programme unfurl bit by bit.

And as an aside, Susie said that Lauren was her best friend there, but - unless Lauren voted for herself - she voted for her. Some friend.

Nooooooooo Lauren goes......the only one who will tell it like it is and no primma donna.... she could " rally" stir up the smugfest and take no prisoners.:(

Can any of the othesr survive without the mirror of vanity shining on thier sad non existant desperate careers.

Andrew Castle is going for patronising smug bastard of the artic. ( cue starving Polar bear and his tent ...)

Global warming imminent and they send the biggest bunch off hot air eminators to speed up the process.

Watching some of it. The funniest bit was when they did the water thing and before Kate Thornton explaining the rules pointed out that they would be taken out after four minutes as after that it wouldn't be safe. Shane Richie then asked, jokingly, "Does that mean after four minutes we die?" to which the bright spark of a presenter responded completely deadpan with "...no, after four minutes we pull you out"

I liked it, enjoyed it although im not a fan of Gavin Hensons he did well in the water, im glad Lauren went she was a whiny bitch to be honest. They win thne luxury cabin and what does she do whine about the food then go into full drama queen mode "no im not eating no im not!!" like a spoilt 4yr old, glad shes gone.

I was a bit sad to see Joe Absolom in this, to be honest, I've always thought he was a promising actor, bit presumably he can't have much on if he's entering the reality TV circuit.
And has Kate Thornton done something to her face? I didn't recognise her at first.
Lauren was a cert to go, IMO, when she had a strop over not eating "foreign food", but I was surprised that people had voted against Shane, who didn't seem to do much wrong.

You can obviously tell its not the snow dome in mk and kate was'nt the co host she was the main host.

Anyway, i enjoyed it, however i would of liked them to make it more like im a celeb as thats what it has been based on, in fact they could of had it as exactly the same program, they could just have it situated in the ice, same hosts, same set up, had the public voting rather than the celebs and you would get some bigger names as celebs as its already a well known programme.

This show was presumably recorded weeks ago, because if somebody had died (which was quite conceivable) they would have pulled the series.

What amazes me is that ITV are prepared to risk peoples lives with this show. To allow the contestants to spend up to four minutes in freezing water was totally irresponsible. For some people 10 seconds would have triggered a heart attack.
