im looking for a first car. my dad knows this guy hes known for his whole life and hes giving me a deal. a 1996 honda civic dx with 2 dents, standard, and its a two door. ive yet to see it, but my dad started it at the guys house, he said the motor runs good, smoke wasnt blue or anything, and it fired right up regardless of the foot of snow and cold weather. on the otherhand, the guy that owned it before him, burnt the clutch out. my dad said its easier to fix, he knows how, and itll only cost about $100. i wanted to know, is it a good deal? even tho civics are soo looked down upon? how much would a black paintjob and decent rims be? i dont wanna trick it out, just make it look not soo shitty. thanks.
