Hey,
For the last 7 years I've had constant tightness ranging from the lower left side of my back, up through the upper left side of the back as well as the left side of my head (which really really frustrates me because it affects my concentration and distorts my eye sight as the tightness also runs across the left side of my head around my left eye) and no treatments (such as chiro, physio, muscle relaxants, medications, mris, jaw specialists) have been able to resolve my problem nor find what has been causing it.
When I was about 12 or 13 my left testicle, which originally was in the scrotum, moved up into the abdomen (the urologist said the ultrasound indicated it was smaller than usual so maybe it hadn't developed properly so moved back up) and has stayed there ever since. Last week the urologist put me on the waiting list to finally have it removed and I was wondering whether the fact that not only have I had a testicle, apparently not developed properly, positioned in the left side of my abdomen for the last 11 years but whether the fact that it is an 'acquired undescended testicle' that didn't move up into the left side of my abdomen until I was about 13 could be whats been responsible for the heavy/tightness feeling I've constantly had along the left side of my back up through the left side of my back for the last 7 years.
It may sound like I'm reaching but considering I've had these same constant symptoms for seven years and during that time I've tried everything else (ie: chiro, physio, massage, muscle relaxants, joining a gym to exercise shoulder/back muscles, mri, ear/eye and nose checks and various hayfever medications) and nothing has worked I've been thinking that maybe it's not just a coincidence that I have these 'tightness' symptoms along the left side of my body and my left testicle, apparently under-developed, has been positioned in the left side of my abdomen since I've been about 13 and considering how old I was when that became an "acquired undescened testicle" and that it is apparently 'under-developed' I was wondering whether it was possible that it could be 'weighing down' on the surrounding muscle, of the left side of the body, which has been giving me the constant 'heavy/tightness' feeling along the left side of my body (excluding left leg).
I've tried everything else and I've had this for so many years and can't think of what else could be possibly causing it (so I was thinking, maybe this urological health issue could be underpinning it and isn't just a coincidence that both are to do with the 'left side').
Thanks.
