1. You have 4 friends and a sandwich bag with 4 equal sandwiches in it. You give one to each of them but there is still one sandwich left in the bag. How is this possible assuming you did not cut any sandwich

2. How many times does the number 9 appear between 1 and 100

3. A snail is at the bottom of a 20m deep hole. It travels up 2m every day but also slips down 1m.
How many days would it take before the snail is out of the hole.

4.You have 10 lit candles in a room with a open window, after a minute two of them were blown out, another minute later and 1 other candle was blown out. You decided to close the window to prevent anymore being blown out. During the next day, how many candles will you have left?

5.In a jar there is a germ. In a minute that germ will multiply to 2 germs and another minute to 4 germs and so on. If you start with one germ it will take a full hour before the jar is completely filled. If you started with 2 germs instead of one, how many minutes would it take to fill the whole jar

6. 5 cats can catch 5 mice in 5 minutes. How many cats would it take to catch 100 mice in 100 minutes?

7. Three men goes to a hotel. A hotel room cost $30 so they each payed $10 each and went to their room. The cashier realized that it was only worth $25 not $30 so the bell-boy was given $5 to give back to the men. The boy could not divide $5 between 3 people so he gave them a dollar each and kept $2 for himself. Now that the men received a dollar back its as if they each payed $9 in the beginning. Recap: $9 x 3 men = $27 PLUS the $2 from the bell-boy = $29. The question is where is the missing dollar? (Explain)
