6682 new 1gb card.. gallery now broken

I know it's because of the card, because without the card or with the old card, gallery works. Now with the kingston 1gb card, 3/4 full of mp3's, gallery won't open. I tried formatting the card with the phone, no dice. HELP!

u might want to ask kingston to exchange the card if thats the case...

I heard the problem might be caused by the files. Card works, I can play the 700M of mp3s just fine on the phone.

There is nothing wrong with your card or your phone. I know because I've had the same problem with my 6682.

The answer lies in the length of at least one of the filenames (probably songs) on your card. I don't know what the limit in characters is exactly but if a song file name is too long the gallery will definitely crash. Find the songs with the longest filenames first and shorten them. You should see that everything works just fine. Good luck

what happened to me is that I purchased a 2Gb Kingston and now my 6682 wont even open gallery, theres no way. already receibed a new mmcm but problem continues, even tryed out a different 6682 and the same, so the problm is the phone, cause in my n72 work fine
