6682 max memory

i guy at the local cell outlet said the nokia 6682 works slower if you exceed 512mb memory. sounds hoaky, any truth? anyone recomend a better size or brand, i'm still using the stock 64mb chip, but just started playing with smartmovie, and really need space.

thanks for the info. is the best way to copy all the data from the 64meg card to buy an adapter for my computers card reader and just do cut and paste?

yes, but u'll probably have to reinstall most of the apps.

on my e62 it has an option under memery to make a backup of my phone. it works well everything gets reinstalled.

A handful of apps seem to always need a manual re-install unfortantely.
