6265I VS Rokr or ?

My beloved 6265i is starting to show some age and I'm thinking of getting a different cricket branded phone. Know I love the 6265i and could just find another one on ebay, Craigslist or wherever. The ROKR is one phone I would consider as a replacement. What I do love about the 6265i is being able to use the program FLURRY to get instant access to my AOL email. Also I just LOVE opera mini for the web. Camera's are going to be about the same, screens are most likely very close. I don't use bluetooth so that's not a big deal. The music player has alway's filled my neeRAB on the 6265i. For me call reception has never been a complaint. I guess my question is would the ROKR really be that much of an upgrade for me. (it can't do JAVA) Is the internet experience as good on the ROKR as I have on my 6265i using opera mini. REALLY is there any reason to change cricket branded hanRABet models from the 6265i to anything else in there lineup?
Thanks for any help
Jim

One more thing, I know the ROKR krzr and other's are EVDO. Does EVDO really make the Internet experience Better. I have read some mixed thought's where people are not getting that much more speed. Is EVDO worth giving up all the cool JAVA app's I like?
Thanks again
Jim

If I'm not mistaken, the only advantage of the ROKR over 6265i is stereo bluetooth.

I personally think the 6265i is a much better phone.

EVDO is blazing fast versus 1x WAP. Do you know if you can get EVDO yet in your market? I wouldn't begrudge over EVDO yet anyway until Cricket officially launches it system-wide.

you know whats funny? my 6265i met an untimly demise, and i spent a WEEK looking for another one.

Ironcally, i switched to a treo not two weeks after i found a brand new boxed 6265i.

the cameras on the 65 and 75 are the same.
the 75 had better software which ended up with better pictures... at least in someone elses opinion, i never got to play with a 75.

and what the hell does utah have anything to this thread?

Thanks everyone for all the imput. After looking at some of the local Cricket store's this weekend I found nothing that I like as much as the 6265i. The 6275 would be a logical replacment but I really like the BIG SCREEN and slide feature. I also found the cricket reps in Denver lacking any real helpful information. One did say EVDO was set up in Denver but would not be running until the summer.
As said by Simple3 an EVDO Java phone would just be the best of both worlRAB. As Berry has pointed out a nuraber of time's getting cool JAVA apps make's buying Cricket downloaRAB much less tempting for sure. Maybe Cricket JAVA phone's are soon to become extinct?

Thanks Berry very much for your thought's on the 6265i. I know you like this phone and I do respect your opinion. That's why I got it in the first place.

Well my 6265i is not quite ready to give up the gost yet, so I will take my time and find another. If I can't find a good one, Well that 6275 was cute!
Thanks everyone for your thought's
Jim

You know, it would be stupid of me to keep a phone that i'll never use again, just for sentimental reasons... If you really do want to find another 6265i

well cricket was supposed to be transitioning to JAVA and dropping BREW... but they keep coming out with BREW phones. This transition is taking a LONG time...
