Turned 60 about 3 weeks ago and decided it was time to do a saddlesore ride. So, on the 8th I left northern Ohio for a trip to Saint Louis and back through Kentucky. Altogether, I rode 1095 miles in a little over 19 hours.

Weather as great and did not have any problems, other than a couple traffic jams in Cincinnati coming back. Great ride and hope to do another saddlesore or bunburner again someday with my son.

Felt good to just get away and ride from 4am till close to midnight!

Congrats to you!!!!
I'm considering it once I get my bike "fitted" to me. Got a corbin on order (spossed to ship next week.) Then I can find the bars that I like best. Me and the wife did our first tour with another couple this past Sunday. They wanted to stop every 40 miles or so??? It was alright by me, we were out tooling around, no hurry. We ended up about 200 miles and he was shot...
Work with a fellow who has "Winged" over 300k. Many SS1000's, a CCC100, and my ultimate goal...the 48 plus Alaska!!!!

I'm excited for you...sure hope your son rides one with you!!! Lifetime memories fer sher!!!
