580i Key Cracking?

I'm about to get my 1st phone in about a month and I've had my eye on the w580i. It seems to be he perfect phone for me except for one thing.
KEYS CRACKING!
I hate it when things break and I have to send them in to be repaired.
Will it affect me much? Because I'm not getting texting and most of my friends don't have cell phones yet so i wont be using it TOO much.

ALSO: Mostly getting it for the mp3 part because my PSP's screen is cracking and sound quality is HORRIBLE
is there any other ATT phones that have a good mp3 player on them? (slider would be nice too)
 
Well, I have just perchasud the W580i phone (grey) myself, so i hope not! But, my best friend has the phone in red, and any of hers haven't cracked, and she's had if for 3 months! Also, i'm am re-assured by the fact that she texts her boyfriend every day at the office, so it's not like she never uses them.
 
I have not seen one yet that the keys dont crack on it. Even if your a mojor texter or not.
 
Mine has not cracked, although I just recently started to text a lot.

My friend has this same phone, he texts constantly and his keys are cracked in 2 places between numbers. So it is a problem if you text like a madman.
