I have a second older sister who is 56 yrs old, she has Asthma and Emphysema. One of the things she suffers with greatly is the fact that she gets sicker more with her sinus than any other problem. She doesn't smoke anymore and hasn't for the last 25 yrs.
We live in Southern Alberta, and so it is much more dryer here, we don't have the humity like you would find on the west coast.
I'm the youngest and I have Asthma, and I used to suffer with sinus problems back then, I'm 45 yrs old and I've seen changes in me that are quite different from what she has. I take vitamins and I think that's were I do better than her.
She's a denturist, working with people from young to seniors, she is the bread winner in her home, since her husband died from lung cancer in 2002.
The chemicals she works with to make the dentures for the patients, could this be a problem for her, could it be she's over run with so much on her plate that she now can include emphysema. Is emphysema the reason for the sinus severity she still fights today?
I can see her being run down, she doesn't take any vitamins, she's always on the go.
I take Omega 3, one a day Multivitamin, Vitamin c, Calcium/Magnesium,Vitamin D,Tri-lipotropic and Joint MD(arthritis)/Advil.
What would be a good thing for her to take, I know Vitamin C would be a good start, also one a day multi-vitamin and Vitamin D.
