$50 Plan and TXT MSG to Mexico

It's my understanding that the $50 plan includes unlimited txt msg'ing to Mexico. So. Why am I getting the following msg?:

"From: 8002742538

From Cricket: To send your message please refill your account by dailing *PAY."

most current incarnations of the $50 plan include UMT (unlimited mexico text) it is possible that yours is an older plan that does not include it... if that is the case you can call care to migrate.. actually either way this issue can be resolved by calling care...
 
I checked my account and this is what is reaRAB:

"Unlimited International Text $0-FIT"

But don't see the UMT you mention.

My acct is was set up this past Noveraber 08.

I having calling customer service for the last two at different hours and I still get "our customers reps are busy....." blah, blah, blah.
