i got a new kitten that's about 5 weeks old. (i have 2 other cats so she isn't lonely) and you touch her she screams and yells. you try and pet her she whines. she hides in the corner of my cat condo and doesn't want to come out. you have to take her to food and water and litter. and she screams when you carry her there. you bathe her and she gets quite and stays that way. god forbid i get a purr out of this little thing. im afraid she has a temperament problem once in a while shell even spit at you. i don't know i don't know if i can handle this cute little kitten if she doesn't grow out of this. please advise someone LOL

do you have her mom with you?
5 weeks! of course she'll do that!
she's not used to be without her mom.
if this happens till long, she'll maybe won't be as other cats will.
so search her mom right away!
but if the mom's dead, just do what a mother cat will.
good luck!

Since she has been taken from her mother too soon, you need to go to a vet or PetMart and get her some mother's milk replacement. Mother's milk protects a cat from feline distemper(gastroenteritis) which can be fatal. At 6 weeks she can have her first shot to protect her from it. She might be suffering from it now.

Too many people think it is okay to give kittens away once they start eating other food and they are absolutely wrong. They are totally irresponsible.

When you give her food, does she actually eat? 5 weeks old is far too young to be away from her mother. She is likely screaming because she's still dependent on her. And yes, being pulled away can cause behavior issues.
