
1. You can now create your own URL for Vine
If you have a verified Twitter account, you can now create your own customized URL through Vine, Twitter's short video service.
Verified users can reserve a custom URL for Vine immediately, while non-verified users have to wait until Dec. 23. But be careful, the URLs can't be changed once they are created.

2. Spotify introduces new music player2
If you want to adjust the sound and amp volumes for your favorite song through Spotify Premium, you can using Spotiamp. Spotify announced the launch shortly after AOL announced Winamp, their own music player is shutting down.

3. Need to set a timer? You can set it to music with the app
With the Humming Timing application, you can set a timer or stopwatch to music. So in a nutshell, you can listen to “The Final Countdown” during your final countdown.

4. You don't have to go to the salon to try a new hair style
With the NewDo by Vizago iPhone app, you can check out how any kind of hair style would look on you – and it's in 3-D. All you have to do is line up a photo of yourself with the dimensions on your phone, pick a hairstyle and voila!
It's much more helpful than those salon books from the 1970s.

5. Nike adds coach mode to its running app
If you're lacking motivation to get off the couch and start your first 5K, Nike has a coach for you. With the Nike+ Running app, there is now a coach mode that will train you based on your athletic ability.
If you miss a day, start slacking or fall behind on your training schedule, the virtual coach will send you motivation tips and reminders.
