5 o'clock shadow in all pictures?

I have dark facial hair and every time I get my picture taken indoors with flash it looks like I haven't shaved in days, even though I just shaved. I now almost avoid getting my picture taken. Is there anything I can do?
 
Lol? How's that. For one, don't use flash at all. If you really have to, try a different position that way the shadow shifts.
