OK so i went to brands today to look into bikes. This is my first road/racing bike. I saw a few bikes in there that looked interesting plus everything is on sale just for this weekend! The sales assistant measured me for a 56 bike. So if you have any knowledge of these bikes please let me know, Im looking for something thats decent off the bat for me to start riding (I'd like to do some races/charity events, starting off maybe 35 miles to see how i do and working up 65 + eventually) with no upgrades right away. I need to make a decision before the sale ends haha thanks.

.... The man did show me a Specialized Elite 2010 (she was a beauty) on sale for $999 but Its really difficult to go over $800 and being its my first bike.
Thanks guys, yes it is the allez elite. So very nice but my instinct tells me to stay cheaper (one because i dont have that much money and...) because what if this doesnt work out, its alot of money to spend. Ive ran long distance for the past 7 years and need something new, so maybe this is my major next step for of being athletic and keeping in shape.
