My escape has the 4x4 opion with the switch in auto or 4x4. Today while it was raining the front tires were spinning but it never kicked in 4x4. I put it in 4x4 and got the tires to spin again for quite awhile, so I know the 4x4 isn't working. My question is what are some things to check for? The 4x4 light comes on but like I said it isn't working. Any help would be appreciated.
