 Yeah that's true, I'd never thought of it until you pointed it out. I think other shows either have no minorities or they make a big deal out of a token black character. The writers of 30 Rock are just so much smarter than on a lot of other shows IMO.

That was really funny.

And Jonathan talking to Khonani in Hindi was cool too. I love how diverse 30 Rock is w/out beating us over the head with it. What other network show has a plot using 3 South Asian actors, and another using mostly African-American actors? It's awesome. :D

I forgot to mention that I loved the Twofer storyline when he found out he was an affirmative action hire. His discussion with Tracy, Grizz, and Dot Com about "old school racism" coming back was so funny.

 that's true. He does seem to behave differently to the Jack we know when he's around her, although they were cute together when they were watching TV in her hotel room.

Hmm, just finished Khonani. I preferred Lee Marvin Vs. Derek Jeter. That one was really funny. Khonani was just meh. It strained to hard to be wacky and just didn't succeed.

I actually like Nancy and Avery. I prefer Avery for Jack though. I think Nancy would have been great for him 20 years ago. But he's just not that guy anymore.

That was so funny! And I loved when he threw the dart and it landed right in the middle of Nancy and Avery's pictures... and then the second dart landed on the first one!

Jack:"Follow your H.E.A.R.T! Head Equation and Rational Thinking." :lmao:

"Its Fresh!" *Ghetto NBC Chime*

I loved these two episodes! So many good things in these episodes, and everything you all said had me cracking up. I totally agree that I hope Jack chooses Avery instead of Nancy. I really don't like Nancy.

 Totally agree with you about Avery and Jack. Loved that she gave him the cufflinks Reagan was buried in

And also loved Liz joking about Jack's love being right in front of him :D

I really enjoyed the episodes.

Pretty good, thought the first one was better.

btw - I really hope Jack doesn't choose Julianne Moore's character...I love the actress but just not loving the character and I ADORE Avery. Seriously as much as I like Jack/liz I think Avery really fits with Jack. Also loved the remark regarding a Jack/Liz pairing in the ep - it's great how they always make fun of it.

I watched them - and loved them both, but definitely liked the first one more. I thought there were some great lines, some I remember are...

Jack: "As my good friend and fox hunting partner Mary J. Blige would say ‘No more drama"

Jack: "Thank you Lemon but my true present is that exquisite ensemble, you look like a prison weed dealer"

Jenna: "Tiana, Mulan, Pocahantas, Jasmine — wow, she’s right"

Weird single guy: "That’s not that much cheese"

And I loved the whole scene where Liz was playing singles dodgeball at the YMCA

Me too. Probably not until later tonight, but when I do, I'll get a recap of sorts up, and some of the good quotes from the episodes. :D

Both sound great! Thanks for the thread Pia. Haven't watched them yet but hopefully by tomorrow. :D
