My Jeep Cherokee 1999 has studded tires and a 242 tcase. When in the snow uphill I have a huge amount of trouble getting up. A friends icy driveway that is dirt and somewhat steep even with a running start I have to go off the driveway to get my tires on dirt to make it. I have only tried it in part time, should I try in full? A Chrysler Pacifica with summer tires and a 2wd Rodeo without studs easily made it. I know its not my driving because I drove a dodge truck easily up it. I can feel my wheels locked when I turn, but have slid off the road 4 times this month before I bought the studs, and I had nearly new BFG AT tires. Could something not be working with my 4wd. My front driveshaft sounds like its poppong sometimes I'm planning on replacing the ujoints in the spring when it gets above 20 degrees. Any help?
