I want to upgrade the engine/fuel system/electrical/brakes of my 48 buick in order to be able to drive it on a daily basis. I have converted to a PowerGen alternator and a 12/6 volt battery and now would like to change out the carburetor/fuel-vacuum pump/entire ignition system/brakes to disk/ engine upgrade (valve seats) etc. etc.
Any advice, precautions, or special considerations would be greatly appriciated since I have never done a total make over before.
