My son is 4 and a half yrs old, and is uncircumcised. For two days he has been talking of a somewhat sore penis, but has no fever and no pain when urinating. Today it is beginning to swell and redden a bit, not at the tip (foreskin) exactly, but along the upper one third. He says it is no more or less sore than yesterday, but because it is swelling a bit, we're taking him to a doctor this afternoon. Most people say such things just come and go, and must avoid excessive washing, bubble bath, pulling etc. Any advice?
