4.5 T-Mobile-Lost BACKUP-HELP

Ok. So I installed the latest 4.5 from the T-Mobile website. I backed up by data. when I was done with the install it said could not backup data use desktop manager to do it. When I try through desktop manager I can see my data but it is not dark and wont let me copy it the device. It says data can only be sent via wireless. I really only need my address book and BB messenger contacts. How do I get this back onto my curve?????

I am sorry if that was asked before. I tried to sift through some old pages but could not find anything. Any help would be great

Hi Ken - Welcome to rabroad!

I am not entirely sure i understood some of the specifics of your post however your back up files would be in an .ipd file. Most likely saved in your Documents. You can use desktop manager, back up & restore, restore, and browse to your last back up to restore it on your device.

when I do that it starts to say transfering data and then it does something but dopesnt finish and then just stops like it transfered but it didnt

What is your current status? Any databases on the device that are populated?

Do you have any additional / older back ups you can try?

Are you syncing with Outlook or a similar program?
