Well, it's a given that eventually 3G will be released... and probably this time next year. I don't need a crystal ball to tell me that. But i doubt Jobs said this. He's INCREDIBLY secretive about things, and for him to say something like this when the iPhone is just about to be launched in Europe? That would kill sales right there.

This is all just hearsay right now. If Jobs had really said any of that you'd see it all over all the Mac rumor sites. Gizmodo has a history of making up this kinda crap just to drive traffic to their site.

Yet I have been VERY happy with my first gen iPhone. I would GLADLY take my iPhone over my Treo or Q in a second.

okay, so there MIGHT be an annoucements as early as Q1. So release at beginning of Q2, and then people to bitch about that for a few months...etc.

what the fuck does everyone expect? new products come every 3 months. NOBODY is going to sellt heir iphone after 4 months to buy a 3g one. Theya re just getting a larger customer base with it.
The people that have iphones love them.
