I have a 76 chevy 350 4-bolt truck block. Casting # 3970010. What is the factory deck height? I hear it's 9.025". Also, how far can you take the block down without machining the intake and cylinder heads? I've heard that you can go down to 9.000" without doing this. Any answers would help but definitely prefer someone who's experienced at this.
