J Jon New member Jul 3, 2009 #1 ...weird noise andwake changes? the spline is in good condition, i replaced the hub in the prop...what else could this be? The hydrolics? i go over 35 and the engine revs high and slows down slowly i dont know what else to do

D Dan B New member Jul 3, 2009 #2 Your prop may be cavitating - drawing in air instead of water. Isn't that a big engine for a 20ft boat unless it's a racing boat?
