went to the WalMart Supercenter here in small town USA to pick up a couple of stocking stuffers. As usual, I made my cruise through electronics to see if there were any games to pick up for the boys. PS2 case... nothing new. XBox case... same old, same old. Wii... don't have one of those yet, no sense looking. DS case...

wait, is that actually 2 Wii boxes in the bottom of the case beside the Gamecubes? No... couldn't be. Closer look, yep. 2 in the case. I promptly head over to the clerk to get one for my boys (7 and 5). She said, we just put those out 5 minutes ago. We walk over to get mine out of the case, and back to the counter and a lady is there waiting to get the third one. 3 Wii's gone in 7 minutes. I love America.
 
You got as lucky as I did. Walked into Target. Asked the guy if they had any Wii's and he said yes, in back. I was like He asked if I wanted one. I said "yes, actually, can I get two?" He said "sure". He comes out with two Wii's and a grandfatherly man behind me says "You have Wii's in stock?" Guy says yes. Grandpa says "I'll take two!" Then two moms see us and each ask for one.

That was a good day

He told us he was the only person working in Electronics because the others that were scheduled had called in sick. They were supposed to be on the floor but he didn't have time to do it. We got lucky because some people had the flu
