In three weeks, I'm gonna be going on a strenuous day hike (with an internal-frame backpack). I've been really sedentary this whole summer, so I'm pretty out of shape. I don't have a gym membership, so I have to get in shape at home. I have a treadmill, sets of 2, 5, and 10 pound weights, and various cardio, yoga, pilates, and tae bo DVDs. What kind of training should I do to get ready for this hike? I don't want to embarrass myself! Any diet/exercise tips would be greatly appreciated
