Here's my dilemma...
Next year, Ill be a sophmore and may have the option of taking AP art history (they cancelled it this year due to lack of sign ups but theyre trying to bring it back) If thats the case I think I'd want to take that versus AP Euro, the other option. Both classes are electives and I know art history gives you credit towards art reqs not history but Im not sure about Euro... I need to see my counselor because Im getting mixed answers from my peers. If Euro is a history credit and I don't take it this will most likely mean ill receive 3 years of history credit when I graduate if I dont take it as an elective later which I probably won't (World history -Freshmen; APUSH - Junior; Polysci or AP Gov -Senior)
Will taking 3 versus 4 years of history affect my chances of getting into a pretty good college? (Im a straight A student looking into an Engineering major) Do colleges even care if they see I took art history instead of euro (sure I don't get credit but art history is a very good class too)? If it helps, let's say I'm applying to Carnegie Mellon's Institute of Technology
Thank you!
grrr idk this was categorized in preschool -.-
