I'm dropping sprint so I can get a great phone at a great price from a friend. So my only option is going to be Cingular. With that in mind I have three phones I'm considering
Cingular 2125
Treo 650
HP iPAQ hw6515
I really want a phone with Windows Mobile because I'm a huge computer techie so I love to hack my toys. The concept of a phone with WIFI appeals very heavily to me as I want to be able to sneak into networks and use their bandwith to web browse etc.
The biggest thing I need to do is check my Hotmail, Yahoo, Text Messages, Voicemail, Calender, todo list and to also check my Myspace.com account from a cell phone. So I'll be needing a great web browsing phone.
My biggest concern about the HP Ipaq is that i've heard rumors that windows mobile freezes up. Which is why I got the Treo as an option plus i can purchase the Treo Sled which will allow me to goto any wifi hotspot. Then I'm considering the cingular 2125 just because it's a much more affordable unit and uses the edge network still and is windows based.
Any feedback on the windows mobile phones in general with cingular? Or should I just go with another phone entirely?
